Actress Talisa Soto was born as Miriam Soto on this day in Brooklyn, New York.  She started modeling at age 15 and has appeared in many magazines over the years before she moved on to more acting jobs.  Her genre related work includes:  ”Licence to Kill”, “Mortal Kombat”, “Spy Hard”, “Vampirella”, “Mortal Kombat: Annihilation”, “Island of the Dead”, and others.  She is married to Benjamin Bratt and has been more family focused in recent years but seems to be heading back to do more acting jobs in the months ahead.
