Actress Karen Allen was born in Carrollton, Illinois.  She is of course best known for playing Marion in two Indiana Jones films.  Other genre credits include:  “Starman”, “Alfred Hitchcock Presents”, Scrooged”, and “Ghost in the Machine.”  Karen in recent years has concentrated more on raising her son and theater work.  I hope we continue to see more genre work from this lovely and talented woman.
