Actress Alaina Huffman was born as Alaina Kalanj in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.  She is currently appearing as Tamara Johansen in the new “SGU Stargate Universe” series.  Other genre credits for Alaina include:  “Tru Calling”, “Night Dawn Day”, “Painkiller Jane”, “Jack Hunter and the Lost Treasure of Ugarit”, and “Smallville” as the Black Canary in several episodes.  I look forward to seeing more of this talented and beautiful woman in many more genre projects to come.
