The comic book character of Spider-Woman first appeared in Marvel Spotlight #32 in February 1977.  Her real name is Jessica Drew and her origins have varied some over the years.  She has similar powers to Spider-Man, but also can emit bio-electric charges and also can excrete phermones that can influence males around her to obey her wishes.  Recently, a new comic book from Marvel was started featuring the character out on her own.  An interesting character and one worth watching and reading about.
