Actress Stana Katic was born in Ontario, Canada.  She speaks numerous languages and also enjoys many sports and other hobbies.  She is probably now becoming best known for playing Detective Kate Beckett on the series, “Castle” with Nathan Fillion.  Her genre credits include parts in:  “Alias”, “24″, “Heroes”, “Quantum of Solace”, “The Librarian: The Curse of the Judas Chalice”, and “The Spirit.”  I hope we continue to see more of this multi-talented woman in many more genre projects to come.
