The Marvel comic book character of Elektra first appeared in Daredevil # 168 back in 1981.  Her full name is Elektra Natchios and has been both an enemy and love interest for Daredevil (or Matt Murdock) over the many years she has been around.  Highly skilled in martials arts and various forms of combat, Elektra can be a dangerous foe.  She was played by Jennifer Garner in both the “Daredevil” film and the “Elektra” spinoff movie.  Elektra has had many incarnations (and even died) in the comics, but I’m certain will be around for a long time to come.
