Actress Valerie Cruz was born in New Jersey.  She is probably best known now to genre fans for playing Lt. Murphy on the short lived series, “The Dresden Files.”  Other credits of her’s include:  “Invasion”, “Hidden Palms”, “No Man’s Land: The Rise of Reeker”, “Dexter”, “Dollhouse” and currently “True Blood.”  This pretty lady seems to be gathering quite a list of genre credits in a short time.  Here’s hoping she continues to find new and interesting roles in the future too.
