Classic beauty and actress Sela Ward was born is Meridian, Mississippi.  “Sela” is a religious Hebrew word, often used to indicate God’s will.  She first started in commercials before moving towards acting in TV and films.  Her few genre credits include:  “The Haunting of Sarah Hardy”, “The New Batman Adventures”, and “The Day After Tomorrow.”  I enjoyed her a lot in the family drama “Once and Again” for which she won her second Emmy.  I hope she continues to do well and we get to see her in more genre work in the future.
