Dwayne Johnson, or “The Rock”, was born in California.  He had a successful college football career and almost went pro but suffered a back injury.  As most know, this turned Dwayne to wrestling where he became very well known as, “The Rock.”  But in the last 10 years or so, he has moved more towards acting and a number of genre roles.  Some of those include:  “The Scorpion King”, “Star Trek: Voyager” (he’s a Trek fan), “Doom”, “Southland Tales”, “Get Smart”, and the recent “Race to Witch Mountain.”  Besides being a gifted athlete, his natural charm and acting skills have let him go far in Hollywood in a short time.  I look forward to his future work.
