The Marvel comic book character of the Scarlet Witch, or Wanda Maximoff has been around since 1964.  The daughter of the villain Magneto, she first appeared in Uncanny X-Men #4 and has been in many comics since that time.  Her ability to warp reality played heavily in the mutant saga from a few years back called the “House of M.”  The Scarlet Witch is a powerful mutant and one to watch.
