Classic hunk actor Ricardo Montalban was born in Mexico City and began acting and dancing in high school.  He is probably best known for two genre roles, Khan from “Star Trek” and also as Mr. Roarke from “Fantasy Island.”  But he had a long and varied career prior to his death earlier this year.  Some of his other genre parts were in:  “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.”, “The Wild, Wild West”, “Mission Impossible”, “I Spy”, “Conquest of the Planet of the Apes”, and two “Spy Kids” movies.  A classic actor and a gentleman, this gracious man is definitely missed.
