Salma Hayek was born as Salma Valgarma Hayek-Jimenez in the oil boomtown of Coatzacoalcos, Mexico.  She began acting in Mexico and soon moved to California to pursue her career.  She has been a wide variety of TV and movie roles including those in:  “Desperado”, “From Dusk Till Dawn”, “The Faculty”, “Dogma”, “Wild Wild West”, and currently on the quirky and fun TV series, “30 Rock.”  The sexy and beautiful Salma I know will continue to shine both on screen and off.
