Canadian born actor Nathan Fillion has racked up quite a number of genre credits in his career.  He orginally wanted to teach high school drama but kept getting pulled into acting.  Nathan is of course best known for playing Captain Malcolm ‘Mal’ Reynolds on TV in “Firefly” and in the film “Serenity.”  He has been in many other genre projects such as:  “The Outer Limits”, “Dracula 2000″, “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”, “Slither”, “Lost”, “White Noise 2: The Light”, and “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog.”  Always a hit with fans at conventions, Nathan has a new TV series (non-genre) starting in March called “Castle.”  We wish him the best of luck with this and all of his future projects.
