Cute & pretty Leighton Meester was born in Florida and is of Dutch descent.  She is best known to geeks probably for her role as Savannah (sister to Miles) on the series “Surface” from a couple years back.  She has also been in:”Tarzan”, Numb3rs”, “Killer Movie”, and these days “Gossip Girl.”  She was ranked #48 on the Maxim magazine Hot 100 of 2008 list.  I hope we get to see many more genre parts for this young and talented women very soon.
