Today is a little tribute to Majel Barrett who passed away yesterday.  She was born as Majel Lee Hudec in Columbus, Ohio.  She was of course there in the early days of “Star Trek” appearing in the first pilot and was involved in every Trek series.  Most notably she played Nurse Chapel and Lwaxana Troi, as well as the computer voice in various series.  Majel also was in:  “Earth: Final Conflict” and “Babylon 5.”  Perhaps even more important is she was married to Gene Roddenberry for almost 32 years up until the time of his death.  She was definitely the “First Lady of Star Trek.”  Majel will be greatly missed.
