Hunky Ben Browder was born in Memphis, Tennessee.  He earned a BS in psychology in North Carolina at Furman University, and then went on to study drama at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London, England.  Ben is of course best known for playing Astronaut John Crichton in every episode of “Farscape” and “The Peacekeeper Wars” follow up film.  He also was a regular the last two season of “Stargate: SG 1″ as Lt. Colonel Cameron Mitchell and also in two Stargate DVD films.  He was the first choice for the John Sheppard part in “Stargate: Atlantis” but the start of that series conflicted with shooting “The Peacekeeper Wars.”  Ben is a big Sci-Fi and Trek fan too.  I’m sure he will show up in many more genre parts for years to come.
