The beautiful and sexy Julie Benz was born in Pennsylvania.  She was an accomplished competitve figure skater when she was young but an injury forced her towards acting.  She has been in several genre roles over the years.  Probably most known to us geeks as Darla from the “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” & “Angel” series.  She actually tried out for the role of Buffy first.  She has also been seen in:  “Sliders”, “Roswell”, “Taken”, “Supernatural”, “Dexter”, and the new film out, “Punisher: War Zone.”  Julie seems to be on the brink of big success and I hope we see her continue to rise and in more genre parts.
