Actress Lisa Ryder was born in Alberta, Canada and didn’t get into acting until college.  She is maybe best known to geeks as Beka Valentine on the series “Andromeda.”  She has also been in other genre series such as: “Forever Knight”, “Earth: Final Conflict”, and “Total Recall 2070.”  She has also done some film work such as “Jason X.”  I’m hoping we get to see more of the pretty Lisa in another series very soon.
