The very adorable Zooey Deschanel was born in Los Angeles to an entertainment family.  Her father is an acclaimed cinematographer and her mother and sister are actresses.  She’s been in several genre roles such as:  “Elf”, “The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy”, “Bridge to Terabithia”, “Tin Man” and “The Happening.”  She is also an accomplished singer, plays the piano and the baritone ukulele.  Zooey seems to harken back to the golden era of screen actresses like Judy Garland.  I will continue to watch her pretty blue eyes in whatever new projects come her way.
