For the slightly older fanboys out there, many of them felt their first crush when Yvonne Craig burst on to TV screens in purple playing Batgirl in the 60′s “Batman” series.  Born in Illinois, Yvonne started out first in ballet and dancing before moving on to acting.  She guested on many genre series including, “My Favorite Martian”, “Land of the Giants”, “The Six Million Dollar Man”, and on “Star Trek” as an Orion slave girl.  As her acting career wound down she moved into the real estate business.  She had quite a varied career but Yvonne will always be Batgirl to many of us.
