Exotic and beautiful Lexa Doig was born as Alexandra L. Doig in Toronto, Canada to Filipina mother Gloria and English-Scottish father David.  She has appeared on many genre series and is probably best known for her role as Rommie (or Andromeda) on “Andromeda.”  She also has been on “Stargate: SG 1″ with her husband Michael Shanks (Daniel Jackson) who she met when he guested on “Andromeda.”  She enjoys reading, roller-blading and playing RPG video games in her spare time.  I know Lexa will be in demand for many genre roles for a long time to come.
