Cute, smart and sexy Natalie Portman (born Natalie Hershlag) was born in Israel but soon moved to New York and grew up there.  She is of course best known for playing Padmé Amidala in the three “Star Wars” prequel films.  She has starred in several other genre projects including “V for Vendetta” for which she shaved her head.  Natalie is a vegetarian, an animal rights person and has sheltered dogs at times.  She attended Harvard and tries very hard to be a positvie role model for young girls.  It’s very refreshing to see a young actress with her feet on the ground these days.  You will rarely find a better example of both brains and beauty working in movies today.
